Friday October 10th - Cigar and Wine Tasting on the Porch ~ 7-9 PM. Cigars provided by Donnie Bowers from Outman Knife & Cigar in Birkdale Village and Wines from Grapevine Distributing. The cigar line up features Padron, Fuente and Rocky Patel, which include the best and most popular lines carried by Donnie's shop. There should be something for everyone to enjoy.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we are planning Pink Ribbon Teas for the whole month. With the purchase of a Pink Ribbon Tea, we will give 10% of the proceeds to the Charlotte Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Sunday October 12th - Pink Ribbon Tea and Hat Contest. We at The Tea House Restaurant support the national efforts to increase breast cancer awareness.

We will be tasting a selection of wines great for every day consumption, but also ones we think would work well for weddings - with names like "Bliss" or "Wedding Dance" - how can you resist? 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Cost: $15.00, with $5.00 going toward the price of your first bottle purchased.
Friday October 17th - Wine Tasting: Benny Parson's Rendezvous Ridge from the Yadkin Valley in North Carolina. This is a great opportunity to try some of our North Carolina wines. The lineup will include their Barrel Fermented Chardonnay, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and BP's Blush. 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Cost: $15.00, with $5.00 going toward the price of your first bottle purchased.
Saturday October 25th - Joyce Sheldon is hosting a Mother - Daughter event at The Tea House 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Topic: You're More Than Just A Pretty Face!
Help your daughter identify and embrace the characteristics that make her special. Help her achieve a high level of self-esteem beyond her pretty face. Give her some tools to be successful as a woman and as a wonderful human being!
